Do parents need to be on the ice with their child?

Parents are not required to be on the ice unless they wish to skate with their child.​

Can siblings be on the ice even if they are not in the program?

Yes, they just need to have a Waiver Form filled out for them.​

What age does my child have to be?

Our program is for preschool aged children from 3-6 years of age.​

Does my child need to know how to skate?

No experience is required. This program will show them the basics to get them started.​

Is volunteering or fundraising required?

NO, we are a not for profit. The fees we charge pay for the ice time and our Coach.​

Do we need our own equipment?

Yes, every participant needs to supply their own skates and helmet.​

What kind of skates does my child need?

Both figure skates and hockey style skates are fine for our Learn to Skate program. Leather, lace up skates are preferable to vinyl. Molded plastic skates with velcro closures are not recommended. BobSkates with the double blade are not recommended for our program.​
